XPL Enterprise

Introduction

XPL Enterprise is an enterprise GIS framework built on cutting edge technology that provides broad access to geospatial data and applications throughout the organization.

XPL Enterprise can be deployed within an organization, allowing end users to securely access maps and information residing in business systems using a point and click interface.

Business Challenge

  • Infrastructure to build and deploy GIS solutions
  • Extending geospatial capabilities to nontraditional users of GIS
  • Improve capabilities of other enterprise systems by leveraging the value of geographic information
  • Increase overall operating efficiency through the more effective and consistent use of GIS across an organization

Solution Description

XPL Enterprise rich list of features include intuitive searches, buffering, redlining tools, bookmarks, measure tools, routing, linking to external data providers, demographics etc.

  • Administration Tool to manage Map Services and settings, manage tools for Map services, manage layers, users and Roles
  • Security
  • Multi Language Support - The components (maps, searches, legends) can be defined to display a selected language in the same instance. If you change the language, all content can be configured to "re-point" to attribute fields, display labels and other information in the selected language. A user can switch between languages at any time and XPL Enterprise will operate as configured for that language
  • Cascading Maps
  • Multi-Level Join - We can join two tables to get the information and using that data User can view on map
  • Advanced Search - Search by road, localities, land use, land parcels etc
  • Document Viewer - Documents can be linked from website, database table, local area network
  • Performance Speed
  • Reporting
  • Redlining - Using this tool, user can draw lines, polygons, circles, text on map and can save for further use on map
  • Pictometry - Using this tool, user can view aerial image by clicking on map at any place, having option to print image
  • Routing - The Routing Extension Menus Contain Stops, Barriers, etc.
  • Mobile GIS Integration - User can access the maps on the mobile phone and can modify spatial and non spatial data from mobile
  • SAP Integration - User can access, modify the SAP data from XPL Enterprise using SAP Interface
